Hamun e Mashkhel Salt Lake is located in the Nokkundi and Mashkhel regions of Balochistan Province, Pakistan. It is a lake type/underground brine lithium salt lake and is known as the Hamun e Mashkhel exploration right. The geological environment of a closed mountain lake is characterized by arid meteorological conditions and lake basin size, which are suitable for the formation of minerals such as lithium, boron, potassium, sodium, and magnesium.
The analysis results of field investigation and sampling confirmed the existence of brine lithium deposits, that is, there are multiple economically feasible lithium and associated boron deposits in the Hamun e Mashkhel area. A comprehensive sampling plan involves collecting multiple brine, salt, and sediment samples from 5m below the surface of the dry lake.
Hamun e Lora Salt Lake is located in the District and Tehsil Chagai of Balochistan Province, Pakistan. It is a lake type/underground brine lithium salt lake and is known as the Hamun e Lora exploration right. Hamun e Lora is an inter-mountain, closed drainage, super arid lake is surrounded on most sides by hills and hillocks. Within the dried lake the topography in general is gentle with intervening flat stretches. The geology, tectonics, environment and physiography strongly suggest that multiple economically viable lithium and associated boron brines might be present in the Hamun e Lora exploration right.
