Introduction to Linbian Gold Mine in
Lixian County, Gansu Province in China
The Linbian Gold Mine Area in Lixian County, Gansu Province is under the jurisdiction of
Yongxing Township, Lixian County, Longnan City, Gansu Province. The mining area is located
in the Suolong Liba Liangdang gold, copper, and iron mineralization belt in Minxian County,
which is one of the important gold resource enrichment areas in the West Qinling Mountains.
Mining area 9.499 km ², A total of 8 mineralized alteration zones have been discovered, with
gold being the main mineralized alteration, followed by polymetallic elements such as lead,
zinc, and silver.
Au ore (chemical) body:
control length is about 160m, ore (chemical) body width is 1.0~3.6m, and single engineering
grade is 0.65~3.58 × 10-6 (average 1.51 × 10-6), with a true thickness of 0.88-1.76m
(average thickness of 1.10m).
Au orebody: lead-zinc ore (mineralized) body:
with a controlled length of about 130m, a width of 0.8-2.0m, and a single engineering grade
of 0.59-2.26 × 10-6 (average 1.32 × 10-6), with a true thickness of approximately 0.55-1.49m
(average thickness of 0.98m).
lead-zinc ore (mineralized) body:
with a controlled length of about 130m and a width of 1.0-5.0m, with an average grade of Pb
1.56%, Zn 0.44%, and Ag 17.72 × 10-6。
